I have an MA in Education with emphasis in Bilingualism and Technology from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. I am currently working as an English teacher at Universidad de Los Andes and was formerly the Head of the Languages Department at Saint Matthew School (Bogotá) for two years, where I implemented flipped learning and in-class flip in my Public Speaking and Literature classes. I also strongly promoted flipping in the department and the school. I have a TEFL certificate from Hunter College of New York as well as an OXFORD TEFL certificate in how to teach pronunciation. My professional interests include flipped learning (and the in-class flip configuration), research and pronunciation pedagogy. I designed a flipped blended teacher training pedagogy course for my MA thesis and was the focus of my research. I was also a moderator for the Electronic Village Online Flipped learning session in 2017. I’ve participated in many national conferences in Colombia, as well as in the TESOL convention in U.S.A. providing workshops and research reports on my work.
