I am a Virtual Learning Coordinator for the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) Administration Project, which provides diagnostic, instructional, and technology support services to district exceptional education programs and families of students with disabilities. I have a strong background in special education, with a focus on using technology to support diverse learners and struggling students in the regular education classroom. I have spent ten years teaching ESE students, ten years as an FDLRS Associate Center Technology Specialist and holds certification for Deaf Education (K-12), Media Specialist (K-12), and English (6 -12). During my twelve years at FDLRS, I have conducted professional development on Assistive Technology (AT), Instructional Technology (IT), Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Differentiated Instruction (DI). I have presented at various local and state conferences, including the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC), formerly known as the Florida Educational Technology Conference, the Florida Council for Exceptional Children Conference (FCEC), and the Florida Association of Staff Development (FASD).
