Biochemistry Challenge Questions
This resource features a full semester’s worth of group space, critical thinking questions for a standard single-semester undergraduate course in Biochemistry.
This PowerPoint resource includes ‘Challenge Questions’ for an entire semester of Biochemistry group space work. There are approximately four questions provided per week and all facilitate students exploring course concepts more deeply, reaching the higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Earlier questions focus on practicing protein composition, folding and structure, while later questions explore deeper concepts in enzyme kinetics and glucose metabolism (glycolysis, the PDC, the electron transport chain and oxidative phosphorylation). Questions are designed to be worked on in groups, but can be completed by students independently as well.
